The objective of C4CR is to gather 10,000 different beer caps, which will then be sold to a beer museum, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to a Cancer Research Foundation. You can help us reach our goal by saving unique beer bottle caps and sending them to C4CR.  If you drink microbrewery beers or have some interesting caps, please contribute them to this worthy cause to help raise funds for cancer research.

Ideas to help

• Contact a friend that lives or works in another state or country and ask them to save caps from small breweries unique to their area
• Go and have dinner in a exotic restaurant (Indian, Thai, etc) and ask the bartender when you start your meal to save the caps of the beers you drink while you eat
• Check brands in your local supermarket
• Save all kinds of caps (including common beers, sodas, water, anything shaped like a beer cap. These will not be used directly in reaching the goal, but will serve as traders to get beer caps we don’t have, thanks to crown caps collectors around the world willing to exchange them for needed caps. Several of the same kind are OK as well, for the same reason

How far are we?

So far, we have gathered over 5,900 different beer caps from 146 parts of the world! Not quite the height in meters of the K2, not quite the summit of happiness, but good news still: we have never been so close to reaching the goal of 10,00 different beer caps. We obviously still need your help, so please send caps.
